New Forum: How's It Working For You?

@vanderzee
Just for you to know, the forum and the support/ticketing system have a different login.

@Michel Thanks.

Love the new forum but I miss the "Artistic Practice" section.

The problem in the old forum was, that lots of people posted questions in the artistic practice category, they understood it as that they could ask questions about how people would do things, instead of posting the way they do it. For me the showcase is much more clear, thats the place to show what you have done with Isadora, is it a show or a patch or user actor.

LOVE IT PLAIN AND SIMPLE !

@Michel Ah, so that's where it went! The name-change makes total sense, I was just looking for it under the old name.

I do have to admit that I am curious why bold is Cmd+b, italic is Cmd+i, but underline is Ctrl+u. Also, pressing "Ctrl+u", then typing something, then pressing "Ctrl+u" again does not halt the underlining if you press then spacebar, at least on my machine.
Not world-shattering, I know, but never the less...
Also I have no idea how I did this, and cannot seem to reproduce it, but I somehow got two "New Topic" tabs going on. One was blank, one was a post I was working on. Opening the blank one and pressing "Discard" got rid of the "extra" tab, but left other tab intact (thankfully). Am I supposed to be able to have multiple "New Topic" tabs open, or was it a forum bug?

I tested the keyboard shortcuts:
cmd+b and cmd+i (works as soon as I release the cmd key)
ctrl+b and ctrl+i (works as soon as I release the b or i key)
cmd+u and ctrl+u (don't work at all)
One way I found out to get two "new topic/reply" tabs. If you click the small reply under the post you get a reply tab, then if you select the down arrow of the blue Reply button at the bottom of the page and then click reply as topic you get a second tab. Maybe there is a shortcut you accidentally pressed for this to happen.

Slight UX issue... needs to retain states, so that when you read a post from the thread list, then go back using default browser back button / gesture, you’re deposited at the same vertical scroll point you originated from on the thread list. Needs the javascript history stack nudging on click with a hash change or summat, or vertical scollpos storing to a session var then restoring.
