      Hi there,

This is my first mapping project with mapping, and I'm having a little trouble getting started.

I'm mapping to a sculpture, using masks-within-masks in the shape of a target.
My media is copasetic with my projector's aspect ratio.
I've had issues with Izzy crashing, but everything seems ready to go.

      CURRENT ISSUE:
When I double click on a projector (in Izzy) to begin adjusting my paths, I don't understand how to project my output image into my sculpture.
I see my laptop / workscreen, not a full size projector image.
How do I project only my Izzy projector?

      THANK YOU!

        UPDATE:
Projecting OK with mirroring off, but choosing this in preferences is what has been causing Izzy to crash.
I thought I might be doing something wrong.

          Hi,

Have you tried setting up the system display preferences before launching the Isadora application? Normally you would use an extended desktop setting so the Isadora user interface is on one display and the Isadora stages are set to additional outputs.

There is this useful guide to extended desktop settings prepared by Mark: https://community.troikatronix...

You will also get a faster/better response to assistance if you post information about your operating system, computer and platform, version of Isadora software etc.

All the best for your set-up,

This will help you with your Mac screen set up:

Once you have extended display activated you will need to set up your stage (output) preferences in Isadora.

Finally; here is an article on mapping:
