Sharing Stage for Streaming
-
HI Everyone -
I did a quick look around, but couldn't find much about this.. its probably covered somewhere, so if you can redirect me that would be awesome. Otherwise, I'm really just looking for an overview or rundown of options. I've been using Isadora for about 2 years now and this is the first time its come up for me.I'm going to be doing a performative lecture/presentation remotely over the Internet. I'd like to be able to send my stage directly from Isadora to something like Skype. I would like to be able to see the scene while I'm working/talking so maybe a direct screen share is not the best option. As a last resort, I've thought to just project the stage on the wall and use another machine/camera to send via skype - but I also don't like that because its going to loose quality I think. What do you think? -
Hi,
I would say that the safest option if you can make it is to have a second computer with a capture card.Isadora has no built-in function for streaming. If you're using a mac there's maybe an option using a syphon output.BestMehdi -
seems like i can't get syphon into skype, but maybe there is another way there... will keep working on this, but also open to other options!

looks like this may work, but not excited to buy it::: http://b-l-a-c-k-o-p.com/GrabberWindow.html

I would look at http://www.xsplit.com/ if you are on PC.
I am using it with great results. -
On a mac you want to try Camtwist. Freware, no trialware, no limitations.
http://camtwiststudio.comDon't buy Grabberraster. This does the same..... betterBYE -
