Forum Feature Request: New Topic Button on Navigation Bar

Hello all,

I feel quite silly but, in my sleep-deprived mid-tech-week haze, it took me an embarrassing amount of time to remember that in order to make a new topic, I have to press either "Unread" or "Recent" on the Navigation Bar and then the little blue "New Topic" button. Is there any reason not to just have a "New Topic" button on the Forum Navigation Bar? I think it might be nice to have one, especially since it would prevent users who are new to the forum from having to "explore" in order to create a new topic.

P.S. I have a vague memory, (though I may be misremembering), of being able to make a new post by clicking on the red button on the bottom right of the screen with the white "+", but the button was not there, in which case, there may be a bug.

this is not so easy to integrate because it is not just a simple link. The only page where I am missing it, is if you click on categories. As you said, you find it on "unread", "recent". But also at "home" and if you go to tags and have selected one it shows up as well.
