Isadora "The media file could not be loaded because of an unexpected error"

I've been using Isadora for a while and have enjoyed it a lot as a program - For a show, I'm making .png files with transparency in PS, splitting an image into 6 different components that I have as appearing gradually. I have never had this issue before, but when I import the image files, all is well until I try to put them in an actor. That's where I get the message "The media file could not be loaded because of an unexpected error.. May be corrupt".
What is causing this to occur? Some of the .png files I created in the same exact manner have no issues with being displayed. What can do to solve this? I can upload the .png files to a dropbox folder and share if it helps.

What do you mean, "all is well until I try to put them in an actor"?
Do you mean play the image with a Picture Player actor, do this from within an user actor?
