Max caracters of Text Draw

Hi,

On my windows machine there is a limit to the number of caracters that I can render with the text draw actor.

If I go above 703 caracters, the text is not rendered anymore.

Can some of you give it a try, to check if it is a global problem.

@mark : is it a known technical limitation ?

I pasted a text with 1500 characters on my mac and it renders all.

What happens if you paste 5000 characters ?

With all the text on one line.

I pasted 6000 characters and saw something interesting, I only see all characters if I lower the font hight to 1.8, if I set it bigger I don't see all characters anymore.

I have super strange results too...

I am investigating... But playing with font heigh & horiz place I manage to render more characters.. But some kind of bugs that I don't manage to explain for now...

Ok,

It looks like the max number of characters is linked to the heigh of the font and to the resolution of the background...

It also changes when changing of font...

As if the text draw actor had a limit in the number of pixels it can render.

@mark ... any idea...

But I'm anyway happy to be able to render more characters !

I have never tested the limits of this actor in this way I'm afraid; I never thought anyone would use 6000 characters or more! Please file a bug report and I'll have a look.
