      Hi,

I am working on a project that has around 300 video snippets. - My trigger to play one snippet comes from Pure Data via OSC.
Until now I only send a number via OSC that is the index of the video in Isadora. - But if rerender my footage or make other changes the index number in Isadora be be not the same anymore, than the one I wanted to have.

      So my question is:

Is it possible to send just the name of a video snippet via OSC to Isadora (videofile1.avi) instead of the index number to play the file ?

      thanks for feedbacks

      fränk

Hi, I don't think there is a way of selecting using the video's name. However to overcome your issue of changing index numbers, if you right click on the original file there is an option to Replace Media. This will then update the content without changing the index number.

        Hope this helped.
