      hi all,

      I'm working with the v2.6 since friday and i have to say that this (very good) update crashes a lot with all of my differents projects (not only the "big ones" or the ones created in v2.5... )

      it happened very often without any error message  or crash repport...isadora just quit and that's all.

      for exemple a simple patch with just 3/4 pictures players and a projector crashes as well as an other with 3 live feeds,12 movie players, and 18 3D particules.

      I'm working under macOSX 10.9.3 would it be the begining of an answer?

        @artoo

        Please a file bug report immediately and get us the simplest file that is causing the problem, which I assume is the patch with 3/4 picture players. We'll need to know the format (tiff, png, jpg) of the pictures, as well as their resolution so we can try to duplicate the problem.

        There was a problem some time ago now where Isadora would crash because of the background movie players and there would not be a crash report; but this bug was fixed as far as I know.

        @DusX or @mc_monte, watch for artoo's ticket and pursue this as quickly as possible.

        Best Wishes,

          One other thing: we've established a pattern of testing only with OS Versions that are two revisions back, which means 10.11, 10.12 and the current release of 10.13. We simply can't back further into the past given the resources we have. If we can't recreate the crashes on one of those operating systems, you may need to consider upgrading your operating system.

          We've created an official policy on this, which you can read here. Specifically take note that we specify only officially support Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.10 and later.

          That said, I still want to see if we can recreate your crashes, so please file a ticket as soon as you can and we'll follow up quickly.

          Best Wishes,
