      Is there any way to play MXF video files without pre-converting them to .mov or similar?

      It's not a huge deal, but it would save some time!

        There is no way to do this currently. There are a number reasons; performance, playback engine, stability, etc.

          Thanks for that... it's easy enough to convert them before importing... but just one more step to do! One little advantage of High Sierra is that OSX can read MXF natively now.
