2.6 USB Windows 7 registration

I am trying to register the USB key on an old laptop at a venue, but Isadora freezes as I try to paste the code. It happens as soon as I click on the text field, and before I press any keys. Here is a video of the issue

unfortunately I now longer have a windows 7 system for testing. Windows 10 is the only supported os for Isadora on Windows.

Try copying and pasting the text into notepad or similar. Then copy and paste from that.
I've had to do this befote.
