Hi - I just downloaded 2.6.1 OSX (10.13.3) and I am not getting any video rendering to the stage - I can see it when I mouse over the video connectors in the patch.

Also each time I run it I get a message saying that Isadora prefs is corrupted

My copy of 2.2.2 is still working fine

Any suggestions for getting the video to render on stage?

      TIA

Well, several people have moved to 2.6.1 and not had issues showing video, so I'm not quite sure what to suggest there. Are you sure that the projector is set to the stage that is actually visible. (E.g., Stage 1 is visible but the Projector actor is sending to stage 2?)

In terms of the preferences, that was something that was part of the bigger bug that went out in v2.6, but it should have been totally solved in v2.6.1.

Are you really sure you have v2.6.1? Look in the about box please. Just to be 100% sure.

After you check that, quit Isaodra, go to ~/Library/Preferences and delete Isadora Prefs 2.6.izp and Isadora Prefs 2.6.1.izp and then restart Isadora.

        Best Wishes,

Thanks Mark - removing Isadora Prefs 2.2.2.izp from my Library has fixed both problems

@mark I had this very problem, trashing the prefs worked for me - I had them going back to 1.3 I think

Hi, I have this exact problem, only I can't find any of the preference files in my library. I've looked in the preference folder and I've searched my Mac for "Isadora Prefs" but I don't see anything. Any idea where the old preference files could be hiding?

@topherbb Found a solution - for some reason my Mac was hiding the preference files, so I had to download a separate app called "App Cleaner" in order to find the file and get rid of it.

had the same problem. I deleted the 2.6.1 izp folder first. It didn't work. then I deleted the 2.1 izp and it worked! Yea! thanks! Mary Lynn
