Isadora doesn't restart with last used project

I'm having an issue here with Isadora and Windows 10.
I'm finding that if I have the preferences set to 'open most recent file' Isadora does not always do that.

This particularly happens after a crash...
So I may be running show_version_4.2, and Isadora crashes, and when I restart Isadora the file she opens is show_version_4.1, which is presumably the last one that was loaded and saved/closed when Isadora was last shut down gracefully. This is not an ideal state of affairs, and I just noticed it with the latest version. Don't remember it happening with the pre-2.6 versions.

yes, after a crash Isadora does not remember settings that did not go through a controlled application quit.
