      Hello all,

Here's a link to a free tool called AVF Batch Converter that you can use to convert your video files.

I generally work with Hap (if I don't need an alpha channel) or Hap Alpha (if I need an alpha channel).

The resulting files are quite large, but Hap.mov files are much more efficient for playback than h264.mp4 files.

It's definitely worth it if you're trying to play many video files simultaneously.

      Best wishes,

      Woland

@Woland I'm usually converting my files with mpeg streamclip and couldn't get HAP Alpha to work properly... Curious to see if it's working with your tool

EDIT: it's working! good tip, thanks!

on Mac I use AVF Batch Converter who is more modern compared to MPEG streamclip. On Windows you can use Quicktime Player 7 or make a batch with command line using ffmpeg

            here are some good explanations
