[ANSWERED] Plugins page is more than that
-
Hi,
A couple of questions about the request for content to be uploaded to the 'plugins page'.
If a tutorial is intended for this site what are the options for hosting the associated media files? A specific example is video documenting the tutorial files. After reading the request for content uploads, I thought to submit an update to the tutorial for extending 3D particles that I prepared and distributed to the forum last year: https://community.troikatronix.com/topic/5434/3d-particles-tutorial/2
However, to avoid issues it makes more sense for the associated video files to be hosted by the troikatronix servers. At the moment that does not appear to be possible or is it?best wishes

Dear Russel
At the moment the plugin page is only for plugins, user actors and patches, not for tutorials. But your tutorial would be a great resource for the tutorial page https://support.troikatronix.c... what do you think?

Hi Michel, thanks for your response. I might have misinterpreted the statement in another thread... “Also, anyone who has created handy User Actors/Macros, GLSL Shaders, FFGL plugins, example/template/tutorial Isadora files for Isadora 2 or Isadora 3 that they’d like to share with the community is welcome to submit those too!”
I will finish the update to the tutorial package and then see what can be done with it. If it is valuable to have available through the tutorials page that would be epic.
Best wishes

As someone who's long been saying in our company tech team meetings that it'd be great to have a 3D tutorial written by you in our Knowledge Base tutorials, I love this idea.
I checked with @mark and showed him your tutorial from last year and he's definitely open to the idea of having your tutorial in the Knowledge Base. When you're done, please submit the materials via a ticket and we can continue the discussion there.
Thanks so much for being such a pillar of the Isadora community, we really appreciate you and everything you do!
Best wishes,
Woland
