      Hi all,

      I'm having a problem with a project that was saved in V2 and I've now re-opened in v3. I have a live feed running through spin, crop, and contrast actors before being sent to a projector. Half of the time when I open the project, they work, and half of the time I have to set all three actors to bypass in order to get the image to appear. An older thread mentioned that these actors are problematic with the new update, but I don't see a viable way to replace them. Is this true that some actors just don't work consistently in v3?

        Personally I don't have any issue's with V3. Please open a new support ticket at https://support.troikatronix.c... so that the Support staff can take a look with you regarding your patch and give you advice regarding the matter. They will get to the bottom of this ;)

          Yes, as Juriaan said, please open a support ticket. We need more information from you in order to diagnose this; we need to know if these are vanilla actors or FF plugins, what OS you're on, and we'll want access to the actual patch itself, etc.

          If you post the patch here (or a simplified version of it that you can verify demonstrates the issue) then multiple people can try it out and see if they have the same behavior.

          Can you also post a screenshot of the patch? It'd be good to check that you don't have the video actors set to the old, inefficient "CPU" video type, as well as a few other things.

            That depends on a lot of factors. Isadora's very flexible, and sometimes that flexibility means that there are quite a few places where one can go wrong. If you're using actors that we specifically mentioned in the release notes as removed, no longer supported, are "classic" (legacy) actors, are using the CPU video type, are working on an unsupported operating system, etc., then yes, you may very well experience poor performance and unexpected behavior. Our team did test all the actors to make sure they worked, and I assure you that we're just as invested in getting to the bottom of this mystery as you are (if not more so).
