How can I use the syphoner app in Catalina OS?

Hi.

I'm working on a play that requires two webcams.

I need a syphoner to bring my webcam to Isadora.

Until recently, I used sigmaix's syphoner app, but the syphoner is not working due to the Mac os update.

Catalina OS seems to upset users in many ways.

How can I use the syphoner app in Catalina OS?

Help me if you know how to solve it.

Hi,

You can use OBS with the NDI plugin. I think you can arrange the two webcams in the same window and send via NDI.
I have never used it this way but I understand that it can be done. Then in Isadora you can crop image.

It's not a perfect stage yet, but it's starting to show hope.
NDI Actor in Isadora 3 is still lacking in safety, but we need to test it for a long time.

You can use Syphoninject to send OBS window using syphon.

I also used Syphoner to get my desktop or other windows inside of Isadora. Doe's anyone have an alternative to do that?

you can try cam twist studio but I am afraid it will be the same problem with Catalina. The last message on Facebook is 2017 and on the website 2011. I have only Mojave so I cannot test it.

Hi, I think that you can use the Screen Capture ALPHA actor in Isadora to mimic the use of the Syphoner app.
