BlackMagic Ultra Studio Mini Recorder issues

Hi all - is anybody else having difficulties getting a video feed into Isadora 3.0.8b15 on Mac High Sierra? i used the same camera and setup with no problems last November, but today i can only get black screen, no matter what combo of settings i have with Izzy, BlackMagic desktop and the camera, and i think the only thing that has changed is the build of Izzy.

@primaldivine mentioned something like this, and said she found a solution. (But I don't know what it is.) Can you let us know?
