      Hello all,

      I recently got an akai apc 40, which I´m planning to use to control Isadora. One feature I particularly like about this control, is the feedback possibility with programs like Live.
      The question is quite simple, Is there a way to make that response happen with Isadora?
      Thanks a lot for any help.

        Isadora can definitely send MIDI back to controllers for feedback but Akai describes the APC 40 as communicating "USB-MIDI with a proprietary hardware/software handshake" so it is possible you will run into some issue depending on what that means.

          Thanks Matthew,

          Yes I understand that Isadora can send out midi, however I´m totally ignorant about how to approach that to "map" back the controller, so I can get visual feedback and see those nice green, yellow, red lights on, so I could know what is active and what is not in the patch.
          Thanks again

            @mvilla
            in Isadora you have to program the visual feedback yourself. the color is controlled by sending different velocity values.

                It is a bit of work but not to bad.
                I did it for the launchpad, it has 64 pads. I have the patch at work but this week I work out of the house as freelancer, not sure if I can make it to post the patch this week. Maybe next week.

                  Here is the LaunchpadLEDfeedback user actor. Maybe a point for you to start.
