360-Degree Video with 16 Projectors
We had an inquiry through the ticket system about using Isadora to run 360-degree video from one computer with 16 displays so I made a couple of example files
I assumed four 4k displays were being uses, with a quad splitter each (so it's treated as 16 displays). Each quad is 1920x1080 and I assumed a 20% overlap for each display
Example file for two Stages, each with 8 quads: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/21swa3gmnnhj0u9/AAB9JjM05SC3JmNikc5xgDWFa?dl=0
Example file for four Stages, two with 5 quads and two with three quads: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5wmhhb3ri2hl22i/AABLPIkUsVzKjAUF7JX7d9Osa?dl=0
It's not something I've tried with physical projectors (because I don't have a grid, four quad-splitters, and 16 projectors at my flat) but in theory, this is how I would go about doing it.
Suggestions and insight from those who have tried this IRL are much appreciated and very welcome.
You're welcome to ask me questions, but I may not be able to answer them as this is as far as I can go without getting my hands on the physical equipment.
