      on isadora 3 windows 10. I'm playing back wav files and they are coming through hotter on the right channel. If I change balance a bit then back to 50 it plays back balanced. Bug or user error?

         Is the sound file stereo or mono? I assume you're using the Sound Player actor, yes?

          @mark Stereo files and yes I'm using the Sound Player actor. It's pretty weird. I'm going to troubleshoot some more after work today. I'll try another machine etc.

            What version of Isadora 3 are you using, 3.0.7?

              @dusx Yes. 3.0.7

              I found that if I initialize pan at 48 or so and as soon as I activate the scene I use an envelope generator to fade it from 48 to 50 the sound is balanced but if I just play the wav without touching the pan it is hot on the right.

                I think a rather impressive fix is in the pipeline ;)

                   @DusX -- will you confirm this bug in 3.0.7 and log a repro so we know. Thanks.

                     I confirmed this is happening in 3.0.7 and is not in the current beta :)

                      Great. I'm glad that, for once, it wasn't user error. Thanks for looking into it.
