Creating live text alongside live video

I'm trying to do a similar thing to the above thread - Create a live text that plays alongside a stream of live-edited video. The idea is that this looks like a computer programme.

I've linked up Text Draw to a Projector and added the Edit Text control, but I can't get text to display "live". I can only modify it by typing in the Text column in the Text Draw actor, and the Edit Text control seems to do nothing.

Can anyone help with this?

Did you link the ID number of the the "Edit Text Control" to the text input of the "Text Draw Actor". In the screenshot of the post you are referring to the id number is 1. You can see the id number of the "Edit Text Control" in the upper right corner if you are in edit mode.
