[LOGGED] Publish Interface to a local HTML file
-
I think it would be super awesome if you could publish the control panel (not the patching window) to a local HTML file. This could then be used on a giant touch screen or displayed on a machine without users having direct access to the normal control panel.
Better still would be if the interface could be styled with CSS or similar. Being able to change the graphics (sliders, dials, background, etc) would be possible then with basic HTML knowledge. And you could embed videos, graphics, etc in the HTML.
This would be amazing for installs; museums and art galleries and similar. As well as trade shows and corporate events.

Something like this was explored recently through this forum thread. It required an OSC intermediary - Node.js
There are a few javascript HTML objects that appear to make it viable like sliders, x/y box, buttons, tables and menus that can be modified with CSS design principles.
I agree there is a lot of potential.
Best Wishes,
