Images of Your Work
-
Dear All,
I am giving a wee presentation about Isadora. Wanting to show what we do, I solicited images of people's work for it in the Isadora User Group on Facebook.
If you want to share something in that thread so I can use it in the slideshow of this private talk, then please do. You can also feel free to share images of your work here.
Whether you share or not, it's worth taking a moment to look at the Facebook thread and the incredible work people are doing. I am really proud to know we were helped to make such things happen.
Warmly,
Mark -
I am blown away by the images submitted to the thread on Facebook. There is a thriving catalogue of amazing work enabled by the power of Isadora. When viewing an amalgamation of work like that, it dawns on me that, artistic creativity is a weapon used in the struggle to empower identity and expression, to enliven the world with its freedoms and insights into the human spirit that are so often being suppressed and controlled by systems and regimes. Isadora is instrumental in the community as a defence for artistic freedom, creative tolerance and cultural innovation.
Congratulations and thank you for liberating my mind!
best wishes,
Russell

It's an amazing thread on FB.
I would love to collect all the images and make a picture book... worth a thought! I bet 95%of the images could be cleared for rights and the book could be sold/donations. I'd buy it!

@mark and the entire community !
I take this topic to suggest again if a repository, for public use of images and videos, of the work done by our community (which could be later selected by the Troikatronix team) could be created in such a way to have a link to show the new people interested in Isadora. They constantly ask me to "see" what things are done with Isadora etc etc
Thanks a lot !!
Best,
Maxi -
I would like to see and share the works to. But I don't use Facebook and the Isadora Page seems to be non public, which is a pitty...

Yes, it's a closed group to keep out spam, etc. I'm sorry that you can't see all the great pictures.
We are discussing a plan to get in touch with these artists so to arrange permission to that we might arrange a way to share as many as possible.
Best Wishes,

same here, i'd love to see, maybe contribute. Perhaps this part of the page can be made public, while retaining privacy for discussion? In any case, I think it can't be bad to showcase what the Isadorables are up to..:-)

This is something we are also interested in. We are always looking to increase the visibility of Made with Isadora projects.
I will think about this more, maybe I can come up with a low maintenance method of doing this. -
What about an own showcase category in here?

I think it should be an easy method to access for those who are not from the community. maybe something like an "art wall" (videos and pictures ), freely accessible with the material that the community is willing to share without problems or "legal" conflicts.
Best,
Maxi
