      Hi all,

      it seems like Apple has stopped supporting Photo-JPEG or similar codecs which allows for smooth scrubbing backwards & forwards. Does anyone have up to date suggestions? I'm working with HD res at 100FPS.

      (nb 'Animation' codec doesn't seem to work any more with Isadora)

      thanks

      Nic

        The best choice will be Hap. It is decoded on the GPU so the CPU is freed up to all Isadora to do more.

        Hap, HapQ (high quality) and HapA (with alpha channel) are supported in Isadora 3 in both Move and Avi wrappers.

          I like using Shutter Encoder to do my transcoding in Batches. Shutter Encoder supports mov Hap straight away. If you want Avi it can rewrap mov to Avi in batches as well.

            @dusx

            Brilliant! video playback is as smooth as a baby's proverbial. Thanks DusX!

            Note that Hap doesn't seem to support 100fps, but seeing as I only need to scrub the video, I slowed it down in the edit by 1/4 and exported it at 25FPS Hap.
