Generative patch

In response to a previous post I made showcasing a patch, here is the project file available for download. I hope some of you might get some enjoyment out of it :) Thanks

Hi,
Looks really fun and I guess there is a lot of 'roll your own' to get the patch functioning by replacing all the assets of 3D models and most of the pngs? I also need to update some TT actors and find an alternative to the Nano controller. This beautiful generative patch appears to have a lot of bespoke parts to replace with my own invention before it will work 'out of the box'. Thanks for sharing.

@bonemap Hi Russell, greetings from NZ. Yes, Ok. So the 3d files that are missing are not integral to this particular patch, and shouldn't have been included, that was a mistake. However, a 3d renderer can be put in place of either of the 2 shape actors, or any of the 2 picture inputs. The PNG files are to demonstrate how the luminosity of the picture inputs effects the outcome. Any picture can essentially be used, but I find a solid black and white image works best, also gradients can give good results. If there are any TT actors that you are missing I can share, but I think they are all from the Isadora website. Also the Nano controller isn't necessarily needed and you should be able to control all the parameters from the control panel :)

Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. I will have another go at it. I have installed all the TT plugins on the machine where your patch has been downloaded - so it should be enough to get your demonstration working. It looks like a very innovative patch and I am excited to have the experience of controlling it. Thanks again for your generosity with sharing. Seeing all the 3D model residue in the media bin was very intriguing. I didn’t see a 3D player but assumed there might be one embedded in a user actor somewhere in the patch.
Best wishes

We'd love it if you could upload this to the TroikaTronix Add-Ons Page (linked in my signature).

4 you!
Thank you. I'm quite hooked. Reminds me of time spent in a closet lab full of analog computer graphics gear.
