Wiggle
-
Hi All,
here's a user actor that mimics the 'wiggle' expression in After Effects. It's a super useful feature that takes any value and makes it 'wiggle' by smoothly fading between random values within the parameters you set;
(freq) how often to change = how fast to wiggle
(amp) by how much = how big a wiggle.
You can use it to generate random movement on it's own, as in the first clip, or apply it to other values as in the second clip. The .gifs here obviously remove all smoothness, but you get the idea...
The (curvature) setting isn't in After Effects, or if it is it's beyond my knowledge of the program, but seemed to make sense in Izzy. This allows you to effect the 'smoothness' of the wiggle by adjusting the curvature of the Ease In-Out actors inside the user actor.
I'll add it to the Add-Ons page but thought I'd pop it up here first and see if anyone wanted to suggest any improvements first. Enjoy.
