      hello, i don't think it's currently possible to "get video duration" (h:m:s) for any movie in the video files folder?

      am presently doing this by loading a video into a movie player using timecode, then entering a large number into position (in) and seeing what position (out) returns

      get video duration would be a useful actor, if this capability doesn't already exist somewhere

      rgds, Mr J

        @mr_j

        Try the "media percent to time" actor.

        Also if you hover your cursor over the file name in the bin, it will give you all sorts of information, including duration).

        Cheers,

            (Sorry for the thread necromancy, I'm going through the Feature Request section to make sure we caught everything).
            I just wanted to note that the addition of the "Timecode Converter" actor in 3.1 provides this function
