    recommendations for sending values across a large patch

      Hi Isadora's,

      I've been building a patch over the last 5 years that's now growing very large (see partial screenshot below). I've recently started using user actors in the patch, which is helping to minimise the amount of screen real estate i'm using.

      Have been wondering what methods others are using to connect actors across a large patch, apart from snaking links horizontally/vertically across the screen (which can be hard to follow) or using direct diagonal lines (which results in much messiness)?

      Was thinking of maybe using global values but wondered on the cpu hit, especially when there's lots of them changing values regularly (like audio triggers)?

      Am interested to hear any recommendations.

          I use JSON often to combine links into groups ad pass them around that way.

          The methods allows user actors to have a single input instead of many links, which can make complex patches much easier to work on.
