Hi. New to Isadora. Searched but couldn't find an answer...

I'd rather have MP3 play as and audio file.

This is a legacy behaviour that comes from the fact that mp3 playback was first offered via the Quicktime frame work which was integrated in the Movie Player. This feature became a useful option for many users since the Movie Player provided different control capabilities than the Sound Player.

As we move forward with new Audio features in Isadora you can expect to see MP3 support added to the Sound Player.
