We just tried Isadora 3.1 with an existing file on an iMac 2017 5K running 11.6. We are playing 2 movies each processed thru a Zoomer > HSL Adjust > Luminance Key and then both streams to a Video Mixer > Projector all processed via vid-gpu.. It starts playing fine but we when click on any Snapshot the sound continues but we get Spinning Ball. This files runs fine on Isadora 3.0.8f12 without any problems.

How can we help diagnosis this problem?

Hi there, Mark here. I created a patch as you describe, which looks like this:

And was able to click between two snapshots without issue on macOS Mojave 10.14. (I don't have any copies of El Capitan 11.6, because this is not a platform we test with any longer.)

What are the resolution and codec for the the movies?

Also, are the snapshots disabled for the Movie Players, i.e., have this symbol at the top right?

(In my tests, I did it had the snapshots both enabled and disabled for the Movie Player.)

In the meantime, please open a ticket so you can share your patch with us, and so one or our team can go back and forth on this with you.

        Best Wishes,
        Mark

          Hi Mark,

We will open a ticket so we can share the patch. The problem we are seeing is just with Isadora 3.1 running in (macOS 11.6) Big Sur. Running Isadora 3.0.8f12 does not have any issue in Big Sur. Also, there is no problem running the patch with Isadora 3.1 in Mojave.

          Thanks

Does Isadora 3.1 runs in Big Sur? The support ticket only lists Isadora 3.1 + Monterey.
