      Interesting... all good for me.

Why does yours say "0,1" (Zero comma one) for the Hz value? I can only get mine to do "0.1". Is that to do with the system language of your Mac?

        Hi,

When first using the Isadora 3.1 update, I have seen this with my patches too and not just with 'square' waves, also with 'sine' waves. I noted that it was only with an existing patch i.e. formatted in an earlier version of Isadora, and that when placing a new Wave Generator into the same patch the new instance appeared as expected.

i think you're right there. in some languages a decimal point is represented by a comma rather than a full stop. they do that here in Finland - it often catches me off guard. i thought mathematical symbols were pretty universal, but here things like multiply by, divided by and cross/tick are different to those which i am used to.

I think this comma and full stop thing is part of the metric vs. imperial system. UK and US use commas for making long numbers more readable and separate decimals by full stop. As far as I know, all other european countries does it the other way around.

I don't know for Windows, but at MacOS you can change it in the preferences -> Language & Region -> Advanded...

it seems the little icons in the generaor actor disappeared since my last upgrade to Isadora 3.1.1 (Intel).

I've reproduced the bug on the Big Sur (ARM/M1):

              1) Add a Wave Generator to a new patch. The wave shape icon appears.
              2) Save the patch
              3) Close the patch
              4) Open it again
              5) The wave shape icon is not drawn. :-(

@hoec, your sig line says "MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)" which would indicate an Intel machine. Is that the machine where you saw the failure, or could it have been an ARM/M1 machine by any chance?

                 Hi @mark,

I can chime in here to confirm I have seen this bug on my MBP 16" intel machine.

Hi there, I am seeing this on Catalina with Izzy 3.1.1 ( Intel ) not a huge deal as the wave generator functions as normal, but thought I'd mention it :)

                      Thanks for your work.

Thanks. I've already fixed it for the next release.
