[ANSWERED] GigE poE camera not recognized as live capture video input

I'm experiencing something really weird with a Gigabit ethernet camera I recently bought from The Imaging Source (camera name is DBK 33GX462), connected through poE+ LAN switch (tp-link TL-SG1005P).
Yesterday (before reading anything on this forum about the fact that poE cameras were not recognized straight through live input), the camera was showing up in Isadora live capture settings in the video input device list, under Windows driver and working quite fine.
I was operating Isadora 3.1.1 (October 2021 version).
Today, when I opened up Isadora, it offered me a software update, which I did, and right after that, first time I opened the live capture settings in Izzy, the camera showed up with the (offline) suffix, so I opened up the dropdown menu, and the corresponding input disappeared.
Since then, it's been absolutely impossible to get it back. I tried reinstalling an older Isadora version (3.0.8f), reinstalling device driver, previous Isadora 3.1.1 version, turning computer off and on, resetting preferences, changing my category 6 ethernet cables, and about everything I could think of, with no more luck...
So I finally had a look at the forum, to find out in 2018 topics, that poE cameras were not supported... But still, it worked for me yesterday ??
I'd be reaaaaaaaally grateful if anyone could help ? Please let me know..

!! UPDATE !!
actually, I just tried downloading and reinstalling Isadora 3.0.7 legacy version and apparently this one supports it (so I was assuming I was running 3.1.1 when I wasn't, yesterday)
any chance the poE camera support comes back in next 3.1.x update ?
comes back in next 3.1.x update
We are investigating options for expanded support. A change was made to update the software interface used for Live Capture connections when 3.0.8 was released. So 3.0.7 uses an older interface and has some issues with modern 4k capture devices (elgato cam4k is one which we tested), so 3.0.8 was updated. This update removed some legacy Direct Show support which didn't effect any beta testing, but became apparent after release to the public.
We are aware this change has affected some users and are working to fix this for a future version.
