Hi there @Tr-742,
Glad to give you a hand with this. We don't support Isadora 2 on macOS Monterey. Only Isadora 3 is updated to keep working with the latest versions of macOS.
Sadly we also don't offer the ability to purchase any Isadora 2 licences. We only sell Isadora 3 at the moment. We only make an exception if you are in big trouble, for example, a show that doesn't run on Isadora 3.
We offer an upgrade from Isadora 2.x to Isadora 3.x for US$175 (170 EURO) in the TroikaTronix store.
If you come from Isadora 2.x, then honestly we did not change a lot interface wise. You will feel right at home :)
If you wish to discuss further with our license/sale's team feel free to open a new support ticket by filling out the following form;
https://support.troikatronix.c...Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!

Regarding your Mac book pro, according to our System requirements of Isadora 3 (See https://support.troikatronix.c...) we only support macOS Mojave until Big Sur at the moment. 3.1 adds preliminary support for macOS Monterrey.
So if you wish to use Isadora 3, you have to update it to at least macOS Mojave

Answer: Please open a ticket using the link in my signature and my colleagues on the Sales & Licensing Team will explain our policy on this.

Unfortunately, Isadora 2 is a 32bit application and Apple removed the ability to run 32bit applications in macOS Catalina, so Catalina, Big Sur, and Monterey cannot run Isadora 2. This was a decision Apple made and so, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.
Isadora 3.1 added preliminary support for macOS 12.x Monterey, and based on our testing and lack of any issues reported to us by users of Isadora 3.1.1 on Monterey, you should be fine running Isadora 3.1.1 on Monterey.
I have used my old version on hundreds of theatre shows no problems. Also know all the editing features on old software
If you know Isadora 2, you'll be able to pick up Isadora 3 easily. We even have a number of helpful Video Tutorials (Isadora 101 Playlist and Learn Isadora 3 Playlist) that can help you get into Isadora 3. The biggest difference in terms of workflow is that Stage Setup has changed significantly. Here's an article on the new Stage Setup that'll help you understand how it works now. Mark also did a live stream Guru Session that focused partially the new Stage Setup.
Best wishes,
Woland
