      Hi all,

I'm new to Izzy and have gone through a lot of tutorials / forum posts but can't find anything specific to this (tho i might have the wrong search terms)but essentially I am wondering this:

Currently I have a sound set up to play when mouse is at the far right of the screen. It's a long rain sound, and I would like for once it's been triggered, to not be re-triggered even if the mouse returns to this location again, as currently it will be halfway through and suddenly re-start due to the way the sound actor works.

Is there some kind of "don't trigger until" actor, or a way to break the connection between the mouse watcher and the sound player for a certain period of time?

      Thank you!

yes - there are plenty of ways to do this. Multi-Blocker is probably your first port of call. or rigging something up with a gate, comparator and the position output of your sound file.

          Hi there,

Welcome to the Isadora community, glad to have you here.

I made an example for you with some comment actors so that it is clear what it does.

Like @dbini already stated, this is one of 10 different ways that you can tackle this problem.

          Mouse position with delay
