      Hi everyone,

I'm trying to reinstall isadora 3 on my computer windows 10 (it worked perfectly last year), but now all the .dll files are not loaded.

I tried to replace some of them in windows c: / programs / isadora / plugins : nothing changed

I tried to reinstall all visual C++ : nothing happened

I tried to install DirectX end-user run time web installer from Micosoft : still nothing!!!!

Is there any other solution or something I don't get?

      Thanks for helping me :)

You might try using SFC to scan your system for corrupt files.
And if SFC is unable to correct any issues, follow up by using DISM to repair your Windows image.

This page has a clear walk-through using both of these tools: https://www.ubackup.com/window...

Without knowing what I was doing, I moved the entire folder isadora 3 from programs to programs(x86). I don't get the difference but it works.

Does someone can explain that ? I would be glad to hear it :')

program files(x86) is not the correct place for Isadora 3. That folder is meant for 32bit programs, and the newer Programs Files folder is meant for 64bit programs. However, I do not think Windows enforces this strictly.
I do not know why this would have fixed your installation. It could be that you have some unusual paths set in your System Paths.
It might still be worth scanning your machine for corruption to the Windows image using the tools I posted previously.

Thank you, I'm going to check that !

I'll tell you what I find but now isadora seems to work well, does the location of the folder can impact the software or my computer ?

Not that I am aware of. All the paths in Isadora I can think of wouldn't be affected. What could be affected are system things.. like IZZ files not opening when double-clicked
