      Just some notes from output difficulties in show and installation environment:

      Apparently the M1 HDMI Output has communication issues with projectors (no matter what kind, I used Panasonic / Optoma / NEC 4K) also via usb-c to HDMI. The Video did not play fluently (it looked like framedropping), although Izzy showed a 4% Load and a lot of cycles- only the framerate dropped from 25 to 24,8 any here and than. With the NEC projector I experienced flickering and glitches- what helped: HDMI -> SDI converter (BM)

      So from now on I will only use converters to be sure that there will be a clear communication between my Mac and the projector. (probably that is not new to most of you whatsoever I didn't know)

      best wishes

          @Oscar Sorry to hear you're having problems... I have used < 10 foot HDMI cables to a variety of consumer projectors without any problems. I know that doesn't help you, but at least one person is not having the same playback glitches.   - John

            @oscar :

            Are you using Promotion ( dynamic refresh rate for the retina display ), assuming you're using a laptop ?

            Do you experience any difference setting a fix refreshing rate ?

            Not that I've experienced something similar, just an intuition...

            Best,

            Mehdi

              Hello Everybody

              thanks a lot for your feedback! I have used at least 5 different cables from 10m to 2m and also a 50m optical. I was playing also with the Hertz rate (50/60)- no change. Also TB3 to HDMI.

              It worked with a Windows Machine same Projector

              best wishes
