I just stumbled across the Value Changed actor and am loving its uses (BTW it's not listed in the v3.0 manual, which i think is the latest one)

I'd like to create a user actor that does exactly the same as the Valued Changed actor but has two additional outputs, 'up trigger' and 'down trigger'

The Value Changed actor has one trigger output, which sends a tigger when the difference between the input value and the output value is greater than or equal to 'min change'. After testing this with an envelope generator input i confirmed this applies whether the 'value in' input is increasing or decreasing. I'd like to add an 'up trigger' that only triggers when 'value in' increases by 'min change' and a 'down trigger' that only triggers on decreases.

I'd really appreciate any advice on how best to create this as a user actor

      Rgds, Mr J

thanks @jfg, you're a genius... i wouldn't have thought of using the 'value delay line'

really appreciate your help, Mr J

This actor is rather new. We are working on a Manual update, so it will be included in the near future ;)
You can however read about it in the Isadora release notes. https://support.troikatronix.c...
