Hi I'm puzzled because my Focusrite (its a clarett duo) device can't be selected in Live Capture Settings Sound Input.

I need to input audio from Ableton to use the level and frequency bands but the only way seems to be to use the Multi Output Device I made in Audio MIDI setup. Even though Focusrite is one of the outputs in the Multi Output Device, Izzy can't 'see' it. I could also try an Aggregate Device would this be any better? The problem is there is slight latency using the Blackhole whereas using Focusrite in Ableton audio preferences produces no discernable delay. Any ideas? Thanks so much, David

Could it be a case of Ableton not sharing the device? (I know this can occur with Asio in PCs).
It can get a little complex once you have a number of Multi-output and/or aggregate devices.
A screenshot of your Audio MIDI setup would be helpful since I need to walk through the signal flow.
