      Hiya,

I'm working on a production and we'd like to put in some different types of brainwaves represented visually.

We won't be able to work with live data from a sensor, so I'm looking to use one of the following methods:

      1. A GLSL shader
      2. Pre-recorded brain wave data pulled in via a Data Array actor and pumped into a Grapher actor.
      3. Simulating it by adding variance to the output of a Wave Generator then pumping that into a Grapher actor.
      4. Stock footage of brainwave.

Does anyone have any pre-recorded brainwave data that they'd be willing to share? Or public domain data sets that I can access and use?

Would also be interested in anything anyone can point me to in terms of a crash-course explanation of the different types of brainwaves.

      Best wishes,

      Woland

          Hello,

if you look for brainwaves or eeg dataset you can find quite a few in forme of of csv files here for example here

By the way it could be nice to create Javascript, Python or Data array CSV  readers....

I have an example somewhere (I'll find, update, and share it) of CSV parsing using the papaparse JS library. It was something I covered in a class I taught at the Troikatronix Werkstatt's.

Python has a built-in CSV module, so working with CSV in Python is even easier. I should put together a short sample file for this as well :)

              Hi L,

A 3d model file of a Brain neuron, decimated for use in Isadora with rights approval from https://eyewire.org - Not a waveform but a great asset associated with brain anatomy. Let me know if you are interested.

              Best wishes
