[ANSWERED] MacOS "Orange Dot" Security Warning

Has this issue been resolved in Venutura or is it still the same problem? If not, are there any other solutions by now or is the Recording Indicator Utility app really the only solution right now? Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

it's still there in Ventura :-(
The Recording Indicator Utility app requires some pretty scary intervention in OS security, so I haven't gone down that route.
I thought I had solved it with a cheap switcher, but I was mistaken. I have heard that some Blackmagic devices disable it, but haven't tested it.
The simplest solution is an overscan on the projector. There's not much the Isadora team can do about it. Mark has called for change on this forum and elsewhere, but we are a minority. It sucks

Thanks for your reply. I'm also hesitant to use Recording Indicator Utility. Will try it with overscan, but it's scary to perform somewhere without beeing able to test it on the projector in the venue itself.
