Audio Cracks when Playing Backwards

Hello

I am simply using the Movieplayer to play video clips (HAP) backwards. I have unwanted audio clicks/cracks. Clips are running fine backwards on other softwares. I deduce AVFoundation engine might be the problem.

My computer is a Mac running on Monterey 12.5.1.

Though it works fine on Monjave 10.14.

Any clue?

Its possible a speed other than 1 might cause audio issues.
Since you say it is working on 10.14 but not 12.5.1, are there any other configuration differences between the systems?
Audio configuration? Isadora Version? System hardware?

Seems quite Ok on:
Mac Book Pro - 13 inch 2017 Intel Core I7 Mojave 10.14 - Isadora 3.2.6

Many cracks on:

Mac Book Pro - 13 inch 2020 Intel Core I5 Monterey 12.5.1 - Isadora 3.2.6

Mac Mini M2 - Ventura 13.2.1 - Isadora 3.2.6

We only use the integrated speakers
