      Hello everyone!

Working on some simple playback with Isadora 3.2.6 and my frame rate seems to be stuck at 25FPS. I've fielded with system preferences but can't seem to get a smoother play back. Cycles are currently hitting 500. Not sure why it seems stuck at this limit!

If anyone can offer some advice I'd appreciate it.

      Specs - Monterey MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) Apple M1 Max 32 GB

      Cheers

      Ed

What is your target frame rate set to in Isadora Preferences? (It'll be in the top section of the first tab "General".)

@woland 30FPS, but tried 60, and everything in between!

I just sorted this out with @grimvisions

For anyone who reads this because they're experiencing a similar problem, the solution was to go to Isadora > Isadora Preferences > General tab > Framerate / Tasks > Display Refresh and change it from "Scaled" to either "Off" or "Full".

              • Off" gave us 30fps with a target framerate of 30fps in Isadora Preferences.
              • "Full" went significantly above 30fps (fluctuated between ~40 and 75fps) with a target framerate of 30fps in Isadora Preferences.
