      Hello,

      I am trying to use Quartz Composer and every time I try and link something to it, it won't connect. I did purchase the Quartz Composer upgrade. They show up in my toolbox but they won't let me connect to them. How can I tell that they are active. Or do I need an additional piece of software to run them?
      Thanks.

        Well first of all Quartz is quite experimental.

        Not every Quartz Actor that shows up in Isadora will always work.
        If you hover over the green patch line do you see anything?
        Sorry if this is basic - I am just asking the obvious questions first to make sure.

          Thanks for the response. I can't even get a green patch line. It gives me the red circle with the line through it when I try and connect  I am trying to use your edge blending patch that you had put online. The Seb Matrox Triple. I am trying to blend two projectors together with a live camera feed. I have looked at VJ Blendy and MadMapper to do this.

            @bagarrett74

            You are trying to connect a "normal" actor with a CI or QC actor, that does not work out of the box. If you want to mix them you have to use either the "image to video" or the "video to image" actor but then you loose the performance advantage the core actors give you. CI and QC can be mixed.

              @Michel has already spotted the issue - this was my next question.

              Try linking the SEB matrox Tripple to a "CI projector" rather than a normal Projector actor.
