      Hello

I am using one of these - https://plugable.com/products/...

Isadora recognises the displays for stages, however when I 'show stages', I get white screens with no activity.

My MacBook recognises the adaptor as seperate screens, and it works through Qlab quite happily.

      Anyone have any ideas?

      Many thanks

      Craig

Could you please show a screenshot of your System Settings Display layout?

Very interesting. But I know one thing for sure. On thei website they report somethinh untrue.

"Quad Display—On Macs add 4x monitors, even on M1 and M2 MacBooks that would otherwise only support one."

In fact With my Macbook pro M1 max I can connect directly 3 different screens more than the internal display. One through the HDMI internal plug, and 2 with 2 usb to HDMI adaptors.

These adapters that use USB are very misleading. Note: the USB 3 adapter supplied for the USB C plug.
Since USB C can support thunderbold, and Displayport, it can offer some great multidisplay adpaters for use, however, it can also rely on the USB spec for support, and this is where things can fall apart since the OpenGL support offered in this manner isn't good enough for most graphical software, including Isadora.
Compatibility: " Not recommended for gaming, graphics-intensive or design work..."

Generally speaking you will not find any display adapter that supports USB 3 that will work with Isadora. I would look for adapters that specify using Displayport.

Update: it looks like the Chipset used only supports USB standard. see: SM768 Silicon Motion
