Hello everyone ! I use the particle system actor quite a bit. Now I am trying to create a particle system from a 3D object (.3ds) with the 3D player, since the 3d particle actor does not allow creating particles as if they were 3d objects. It allows manipulation in 3 dimensions but those particles are not 3D objects themselves.

I am using Texture Input Mapping to input my 3d object from the 3D Player. It works quite well but there are some deformations especially when the input of vertices is not correct. Maybe there is a better method to get what I'm looking for. I hope you understand my point
I'm interested in hearing about your experiences.
      Thank you so much !

Hi Maxi - have you investigated the 3D Model Particles actor?

@dbini Yeah ! This is what I meant when I wrote 3d particle system.

My point is that when you have a 3D object you can insert it into the 3Dmodel particles as a texture and not as an object itself. Maybe it's the same but I have my suspicions that it's not entirely the same.

have a closer look at the 3D Model Particles actor. it's different to the regular 3D Particles actor. the top input enables you to choose a 3D model and it does exactly what you want to achieve.

Oh! You are absolutely right...I don't know why I didn't see it.
I'm going to explore it and maybe come back with new questions. Thank you very much for opening my eyes!
