Moving Patch from MAC TO WINDOWS 11
-
I have a patch i made on mac which uses lots of CI and QC actors.. i moved my patch to my new beastly PC and realizing there are like 40 actors missing all CI and QC.. is there a way to get those somehow working on PC or am I out of luck and have to find equivalent (ish) replacements and rebuild the whole thing? I mean if it was a small patch no big deal.. but this thing took me years to build and is massive.. thanks

Unfortunately those actors are all supplied directly from the Apple core libraries and are not available on Windows. Most of what I see are video effects and you may be able to find some ffgl FX (or better GLSL) that are similar for Windows but you'll need to find replacements one way or another to get the patch up and running again on your PC.

@dusx thanks appreciate your help.. ive been using isadora since v1 on MAC.. so im in a world of hurt now with the giant rework

I know that there is a script to convert ISF files into GLSL for Isadora in the forum. That will give you over a hundred new FX, that may help you somewhat. I'm on my tablet right now, and can't find the post/s about this, but I know its in here. (I think I posted a zip of them ready as well).
Hopefully they help. -
I don't know alot about the situation today, regarding stability, effectiveness and all, and if it is appropriate for a production machine. But maybe Hackintosh might be an Option?

I searched ISF and GLSL and could not find the post where you shared the zip file.. could you please share if you are able to track it down.. thanks
