Touchscreen interface for museum/gallery - issues with mouse jumping to 0,0

Hi,
I have built, using Isadora, a touch screen interface for a Samsung touch screen overlay that has a USB connection. The overlay is in front of a 75” Samsung display. I have the display set in a vertical orientation. The final resolution is 1080 x 1920. Isadora runs on a Mac mini that sits behind the wall mounted display.
Everything is working well with a user actor module that can be duplicated to reposition active ‘hot-spots’ anywhere in the interface.
There is a single issue that would be great to find a solution. The touch screen is basically a mouse input connected to the computer via USB. It works accurately except for a users first touch of the overlay. This send the mouse sprite to the screen coordinate 0,0. The position of the sprite recovers but it causes some confusion for first time users.
Isadora is a great tool for this interactive touchscreen display and I have some approaches from other museums for touch screen development services that will include on-selling software licenses. But I will have to find a correction for this one issue.
