playing one mp4 file Load gets up to 500% / Stuttering Videoplayback

Hello,

last week i wanted to play an mp4 file in a theater - it was playing smooth during a test but on the beginning of the show the load goes up to 500% and the movie on the projection was just stuttering in 11 fps. I used a very powerfull Win 11 (Version 25H2) the specs in the picture below - anyone any idea what could be the reason for that strange behavior?

I would transcode it again using shutter encoder or something. It sounds to me like a corrupted video codec so recreating it is probably your best choice.

the file is not corrupted it plays completly smooth on other machines / software - and Izzy and a Laptop with these specs should be able to play one mp4 (i know hap is better) ....???? are there any known incompatibility with izzy and the newest win11????

Please open a support ticket, and supply a link to download your video file, and I will run the file on my Windows 11 test machine.

Yes, but there are various ways that different software can spit out mp4 files. There are known issues with certain quirky things like embedded timecode tracks and the h265 codec that can cause issues in Isadora, which is why our first suggestion is always to transcode any media files that are misbehaving in Isadora.
