the y axis sometimes does funny inverted stuff. another way to solve this is to go into the scaling menu for your y value and swap MIN for 100 and MAX for -100.... bingo!: inverted scaling.

what if one wants to use the au matrixmixer  actor, one needs to use the sound file player actor. @sjm62 is this what you are doing ?

I don't a DV camera handy to try this, but I assume you mean that it does not show up in the list of input devices in the Sound Input actor? (Or are you talking about seeing it in the Audio Midi Setup program?)  Probably the reason for this is that DV audio is multiplexed with the video -- it's not a "true" sound input. So I would not be surprised that you cannot send it to the speakers, etc. Best Wishes, Mark

Use the Text Parser. Double click it an enter this:

hex_out : integer= 8X and press OK. this will add an output called "hex out". Then type up to 8 hexidecimal characters into the text input, and v_oilà_! Best Wishes, Mark

Yes, I need to edit that out. But the 1.3.0f25 release apparently has some problems. I'll be looking those over really soon. But go ahead and give it a try... if you need to back out to 1.3.0f24 you can. The file formats are the same.
