Graphics cards for Isadora core?

My question is as to wether there is a specific graphic card that works best with the core actors?  I remember reading something posted by Mark about how he was coding for a specific card but I can't  find that post and am not sure it's relevant anymore.

I am not coding for any specific cards; I am really working with OpenGL/GPU related features in the most general way possible.
